IT Accessibilty at CUNY

We will discuss the CATS Assistive Technology Lab Package for use at home. It includes assistive software like JAWS, ZoomText, and others. We will focus on CUNY CIS and central office initiatives to enhance web and application accessibility to ensure all people can access our programs and services. 

Steven Medina is an Accessibility Specialist at the CUNY Central Office who is currently pursuing an MA with CUNY SPS’ Disability Studies Program

Danny Villaroel is an Assistive Technology Specialist for CUNY Assistive Technology Services (CATS) who is currently pursuing his bachelor's from New York City College of Technology.

Joseph Sherman is an Accessibility Specialist at the CUNY Central Office of Computing & Information Services. Previously, Joseph worked at the Baruch College Office of Student Disability Services as a Research and Technology Assistant.
