Carmen S. Brown is an Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education at Hunter College. She teaches early literacy courses and early childhood mathematics at the graduate and undergraduate levels. She prepares students to create developmentally appropriate activities that are culturally responsive to young children’s development and align with anti-racist/anti-bias curriculum.
